Packaged well... great taste! Thank you for a great product!!!
This is a hard to find product. You can easily buy gluten free oats that are NOT organic, and you can buy organic oats that are not gluten free! These oats are expensive, but the quality is very high and to us it is worth it. Anyone who has a serious allergy to gluten and does not want chemicals should use these oats if they can afford it.
I have been purchasing these oats in bulk from GF harvest for years now and plan on doing so for life. It took some time to find these fine folks and am so pleased with the quality that I wanted to let others know.
I have been very pleased with this product. I have been unable to find organic gluten free oats. I have tried bobs red mills gluten free oats, but they are not organic, I still react to bobs red mills from time to time(hives)-likely because of the herbicide/pesticides not gluten, and bobs red mills is more expensive per pound. I have never had any reaction to GF Harvest and have been very pleased overall with the product price, quality, and service.
I store the oats in a 5 gallon food grade bucket I got for free from the bakery section of my grocery store.(They throw them out) I just had to clean out the donut glaze. THe 25lb box lasts me about 6months.
It's much better than regular oatmeal and it gets shipped quickly.
We searched far and wide for gluten-free, organic oats and have fallen in love with GF Harvest's oats. The steel cut oats have a wonderful taste and a slightly chewy texture. Slowly simmered with ghee and cinnamon for an hour, they are the best cool weather breakfast. Thank you for growing such a beautiful food!
I eat them everyday. You will like them too.
