2026 Oat Harvest
Harvest season is always a special time of year for us at GF Harvest.
This year, Mother Nature gave us a little reminder that farming is never completely predictable. After the first week of harvest, we received some rain, so we had to pause for a few days and wait for the fields to dry.
We can't control Mother Nature, so we just have to be patient, stay flexible, and communicate closely with our growers. We kept in touch with them throughout the harvest, watching the weather and the condition of the fields and waiting for the right time to get back to work.

Once we were able to start again, everything went smoothly. Our harvest team is dedicated and experienced, and everyone knows what needs to be done. Once harvest gets going, there really isn't much of a weekend! We keep moving until the job is done.

It is a busy time of year, but it is also very rewarding. There is something special about seeing the oats we've watched grow throughout the season finally being harvested and brought in.

We are grateful to our growers and everyone on our harvest team who works so hard to bring another year's crop safely home. Growing and harvesting oats takes patience, teamwork, and a lot of dedication—and we are proud to be part of that process.
Another harvest is in the books, and we are already looking forward to the year ahead.

Stay healthy, stay curious, and trust your oats.
